​Scholarship Tea

We invite you to assist Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Sigma Lambda Omega Chapter with awarding scholarships to deserving college-bound high school and community college students. 

​Ticket sales as well as participation with our fantastic silent auction, raffle and donations also contribute to the Scholarship Fund.  SLO's Tea which is held annually includes an impeccable ambiance
featuring live jazz entertainment as well as great opportunities for networking.

Silent Auction

​ SLO conducts a silent auction at the Annual Scholarship Tea with sports memorabilia, exquisite jewelry accessories and jewelry & much more.  Proceeds help fund SLO's Darnell Rucker Scholarship Program which provides assistance to college bound students. 

Raffle Baskets

In keeping with tradition, SLO hosts a "themed" raffle basket drawing
valued at $50 + at the annual Scholarship Tea. Raffle tickets are available for purchase at the event.
