The Arts! Student Program
Sigma Lambda Omega (SLO) chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will expose students to arts enrichment and culture by focusing on visual and performing arts and by showcasing talent through the exploration of writers, entertainers, and various other artists as a salute to the 1920’s Harlem Renaissance and the 1960’s and 1970’s Black Arts Movement.
The program includes virtual and non-virtual arts events and activities.
The curriculum is designed to both educate and inspire students interested in the Arts by providing them with an immersive experience through the exploration of African-American artists from these two eras, the Harlem Renaissance and the Black Arts Movements.
